Xavier L. Underwood

Xavier Lee Underwood (Zay) 23 of Lake City, Florida passed away peacefully on November 13, 2025.

Xavier was born on April 29, 2002, to Jerico Underwood (Father) and Amber Rogers (Mother). Growing up he dedicated many years to playing football; he even played soccer at one point.  In his free time, he enjoyed fishing and loved good eating often asking, “You cooked?” His love for music was a way to escape the craziness of this world. Blaring the music up in his car, work, or even home. He was very loyal to his job and enjoyed earning a lucrative income. He truly showed love in his own special kind of way, making sure to keep us all on our toes. He will tell you that his greatest accomplishment is on its way expecting his first-born child in 2026. His life may have ended short, and he may have had it rough in some areas, but we can finally say he was able to turn this around and make us all proud of the man he became.

He was proceeded in death by Grandpa Jeremiah Underwood (Pawpaw), Great-Grandma Madge Ellen Ross (Nana), and his Aunt Kalandra Perry Riley (Crazy K).

 He is survived by his Parents Jerico Underwood (Father), Amber Rodgers (Mother), Siblings; Darrian Underwood (brother), Jakayla Underwood (Sister), Grandparents; Gloria Perry-Grandmother (Benjamin Perry Sr), Paula Finstand (Grandmother), Benjiman Perry Jr. (Uncle), his expecting child due in 2026, many other family and friends.
