Viki Marie Carter - Anthony was born on January 27, 1958 in Ocala, Fl to Rosa Mae Harris and the late Pertie Charles Carter, Sr. She left this earthly life for her heavenly home on February 9, 2026.
Viki graduated from Columbia High School with the class of 1976. She furthered her education at Lake City Community College. She was employed by Holiday Inn and was a loyal and dedicated employee for 25 years as an Inspector.
She accepted Christ at an early age, and was a member of Mount Zion A.M.E Church Lake City, Fl. Singing in the choir and serving as church secretary. It was there she met the love of her life and best friend Michael Anthony after dating for several years, they were united in holy matrimony on June 23, 1990.
She was Preceded in death by her Grandparents; CR and Clara Bullock; Father Pertie Charles Carter, Sr.; Sisters; Evette Harris, Karen Carter-Shelton; Brothers; James Gregory Carter, Sr., and Pertie Charles Carter, Jr., Aunt: Martha Harris Uncle: Leslie L. Harris, Sister-in-law: Teresa Anthony-Harris.
She leaves to cherish her memories: Husband of 35 years Michael Anthony; her fur baby Socks Anthony; Mother: Rosa Mae Harris, Siblings: Linda Carter-Broxie (Frank), Williston, Fl, Torria Carter-Woods (Frank) Nashville TN, Synthia Coy West Palm Beach, Fl Gwendolyn Taylor Ocala, Fl Mother-in-law Voncile Anthony-Brown, who was a devoted special care giver. Sister- in-laws; Sharon Anthony, Sondra Martin (Eugene), Annette Carter all of Lake City, Fl. Brother - in - laws; Darrell Anthony (Shanetha) Marvin Anthony and James Jones all of Lake City, Fl. Nieces: Ebody Harris, Cassandra Clark. Nephew: Charles Harris, a host of other relatives and friends.
Viki faith in God, and unwavering strength helped her through many challenges. She had a meek spirit and an infectious smile, that will be remembered by who all knew her.
