Sam Earl Walker was born on February 24, 1957, to the late Bernard and Laura Walker. On Tuesday, August 5, 2025, at HCA Florida North Florida Hospital, he answered the call of the Heavenly Father and entered into eternal rest.
Sam graduated from Columbia High School in 1975 and enjoyed a career as a professional truck driver for 45 years. His motto was, "I was hauling before you were crawling." In his spare time, he loved fishing, hunting, and following sports, and he watched National Geographic daily. He especially enjoyed the delicious meals prepared by his wife, Vera (also known as Gus).
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bernard and Laura Walker, as well as his son, Terrance Walker.
