Jeffery Clark Obituary

Jeffery Clark, 63 years old, was called home to be with the Lord on April 11th, 2025 in Gainesville, FL.  He was born on January 13, 1962 in Lake City, Florida.

Jeffery was a man of faith and NEVER met a stranger.  He was a champion of everyone’s ambitions, achievements albeit big or small and a peacemaker.

However, to hone in on Jeff’s passions:

- he was full of conversation, laughter and storytelling;

- competitive while playing card games and dominoes;

- a life-long, staunch Dallas Cowboys and Miami Hurricane fan.

- avid music lover but Earth, Wind and Fire was his all-time favorite band;

- self-proclaimed - culinary chef, BBQ pit master and fashion icon;

- a well-traveled person.

As a young man, he served in the U.S Air Force.  Following his military career,  he worked jobs in different sectors from security guard to linesman until he found his calling serving Veterans.  He dedicated more than 40 years of his life to the North Florida/South Georgia Veterans System.  Jeffery retired February 26, 2025.

Jeffery enjoyed living life to the fullest and the adventures with his wife, Camellia Clark.  They met in a local convenience store in November, 2010 and were married on July 7, 2017.  Jeffery was extremely intelligent, quick witted and had a keen sense of humor.   His wife feels such a profound sense of loss with his untimely death.  He was her best friend.  Jeffery continually expressed to her that not to anger God, he had achieved his life’s pinnacle through their relationship.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Joan Clark, father, Willie Lee Clark (Jewel), and sister, Deborah Levy.  He leaves to mourn his wife: Camellia Clark; siblings: Janice Johnson (Aaron), Gregory Clark (Vivian), Gerald Clark and Claudette Henderson; his children:  Treniece Brennon, (Garfield), Courtney, Corey, Jeffery Jr, Drew, Maya, Reginald Clark; step-children: Adrian Colbert (Amber) and Maurice Colbert; 5 grandchildren:  Skyla Brennon, Kaylee, Kami, Kash and Kassy Ann Clark, Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews and friends from near and far.

Jeffery strove to be a disciple of God through his unselfish service to others and giving unconditional love.  He often ended his conversations with “I love you! Goodbye, but only for now!
