Janiece Pearson Dixon was born on January 12, 1942, to the late James and Junavee Pearson of Lake City, Florida. On August 30, 2025, she peacefully entered into eternal rest.
Janiece received her education in the Columbia County School System, attending Niblack Elementary School and Richardson High School. After graduation, she moved to the North New Jersey/New York area, where she began working in the medical field at Clara Mass Hospital. She later became employed by the United States Postal Service (USPS) as a clerk, where she worked diligently until her retirement.
In 1970, Janiece accepted Christ and became a faithful member of Newark Church of Christ. Following her retirement from the United States Postal Service (USPS) , she returned to Lake City, Florida, where she placed her membership with Northside Church of Christ and served faithfully until her passing.
She leaves to cherish her memory: son, Leonard Edward Dixon of Dallas, TX; daughter, Tracey Dixon of Newark, NJ; son-in-law: Larrian Reed of Newark, NJ; granddaughters: Zhane Alanna Dixon, Zakiyah Ariel Dixon, Zariah LaChelle Dixon; grandson, Jerrell Lamar Dixon; brother, Richard Pearson of Lake City, FL; sister, Fedorice Pearson of Orlando, FL; two great-grandchildren, Elijah Dixon and Kayden Dixon; two God-children, Melody Benjamin and TJ Benjamin; a devoted and special friend, Mrs. Dorothy Maxwell Coppock; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and family friends.
