Evangelist Kathaleen "Kat" Celia Bryant

Kathaleen Celia Bryant, was born October 18, 1942 in Lake City, Florida, to the late James and Catherine Witcher. On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, she gained her Heavenly wings following a battle with Dementia/Alzheimer’s Disease.

Kat, as she was affectionately known, graduated from Richardson High School Class of 1960. After graduation, she continued her education and began a career in the medical field as a Certified Nursing Assistant. Later, she worked for many years as a Licensed Practical Nurse at Lake Shore Hospital, where she provided care to patients, including family, friends, and others.

Kat was a caring person who treated everyone with love and kindness. One of her greatest joys was enjoying a cup of coffee, which she loved with plenty of sugar and cream.

Kathaleen was an evangelist who loved church and dedicated her life to worshipping the Lord. She had a passion for singing gospel music and enjoyed listening to gospel songs. Kathaleen was a faithful member of Salvation Holiness Church, where she served under the Christian leadership of Reverend Dr. Kenneth Troupe, until her health began to decline.

Kat was preceded in death by her husband, Issac Bryant; one son, Leron Pate; three sisters: Angeline Roverson, Hattie Jackson, and Vaneva Reed; three brothers: James L. Witcher, Lee Witcher, and William M. Witcher.

She leaves to cherish loving memories, her children: Arthur Pate, Jr., Audrey Pate, Warren McGuire, Timothy Pate, and Travis Scippio; grandchildren: Darren, Demarion, Devonte, Jamari, A’Shonte, Bellamy, Briella, Jajuan, Timera, Jazin, Doriah, Regina, and David; great-grandchildren: Malik, Nanaim, Rakeen, Nazira, Zayden, Zamyiah, Zayden Jakodoe, and Gianna; caregivers: Mrs. Elizabeth Troutman and Angela Troutman; and a host of relatives and friends.
