Grace M. Cooper & Willis O. Cooper
Willis Omega Cooper affectionately known as “Cooper” was born in Donalsonville, Georgia. He was raised in a Christian home and reared in love and respect to the will of God.
Willis was educated in the Public-School system of Washington County, Florida, where he was a graduate of the Roulhac High School. Upon completing his secondary education, Willis relocated to Miami, Florida and continued his education at the Miami Dade Community College where he received a degree in Mortuary Science.
After he successfully completed his education and internship, he was employed in Lake City, Florida for numerous years until God blessed him with the opportunity to create a legacy for himself by establishing Cooper Funeral Home of Lake City, Florida in 2005 with his devoted bride Ms. Grace M. Cooper. They serve Columbia and the surrounding counties. Cooper was a man of integrity, dignity, and professionalism, becoming a pillar in the community and an inspiration and mentor to many in the funeral service industry. Cooper answered the final call and gained his heavenly wing on December 6, 2020, leaving the legacy to continue to Ms. Grace M. Cooper as the Owner and Business Administrator.
